Canadian Giving
SSJE Friends in Canada can make tax deductible donations through The Bank of Nova
Scotia Trust. At this time we cannot accept Canadian gifts paid by credit card. Please

UK Giving
SSJE Friends in the UK can now donate through Charities Aid Foundation (CAF). This
method allows SSJE to reclaim the taxes paid by the donor as is allowed under UK tax law.
You can open a CAF Charity Account either online at www.cafonline.org or by calling
01732 520 050. Please specify The Society of Saint John the Evangelist, Boston when
making your gift.

Estate planning Information

Specific Amount for General Purposes
"I give, advise, and bequeath to the Society of St. John the Evangelist, in the City of Cambridge, Massachusetts, the sum of $______ to be used at the Society’s discretion for the general objectives and purposes of said Society."

Percentage Amount for General Purposes
"I give, and bequeath to Society of St. John the Evangelist, in the City of Cambridge, Massachusetts, ___% of the rest, residue, and remainder of my estate, to be used at the Society’s discretion for the general objectives and purposes of said Society." 

Unrestricted Bequest to SSJE’s Endowment
"I give, and bequeath to Society of St. John the Evangelist, in the City of Cambridge, Massachusetts, ___% of the rest, residue, and remainder of my estate, to be placed in the Society’s Endowment Fund, for use at said Society’s discretion."

These are only samples for your consideration. Your legal counsel can help you to refine the bequest language to suit your specific wishes for SSJE.
