It was a pleasure to be reminded of garden and stone colors at SSJE-Cambridge on line, but I must admit to my need for the print-on-paper publication. Easier for an old lady to see and digest – and return to! Thank you for continuing to publish print, and mail it. I’m guessing on line may be the preference for younger folk, and they’re the future for us all. Special greetings to Brothers David, Curtis, and Eldredge. You are all in my prayers.
What I think about the magazine: a personal renewal through the web, enabled by my hands. And green to boot! It’s beautiful. Liberty
I would be happy to receive the magazine on the websight rather than in the mail since it would result in significant savings.
As an older reader, my fall back position is always “paper in hand<" but that seems selfish. Time to adapt.

This is much better than the printed version. Seeing the pictures in color is great. Could you deliver this to my email address and not bother to send me the printed copy any more?
Lynn
I think the copy of the Cowley news letter on line is terrific, easy to read. I also liked the color photos, it makes it look like a published magazine. Thank you! laurel
I really like reading the magazine on-line. Thank you for doing this.
Blessings,
Richard
wow…very cool.
very nice! very pretty in color!
best wishes, love and blessings to you all,
marcia
Thank you so much. This is absolutely wonderful to have the magazine online and the web site is wonderful now. Anne
I just read this issue online and it was a great experience – really nice way to read the magazine. It is nice to have the publication in color.
It was easy to open and read on my Mac notebook.
The publication did not open on my iPad – which is how I read most content these days. It will be nice when either the iPad OS or your content provider get together on compatibility for this tablet device.
Overall, of course, the magazine is beautifully done – as it has been for years. And it always draws me back into connection with a community and places I love and care about deeply.
I like seeing the color pictures. Otherwise, I have trouble reading on line: part is my eyes, part is at the library you only have 1 hour and that goes fast. So I would still appreciate it through the mail.
I dream of the day when I can save enough to come for another stay with you.

The online mag is beautiful, however I still prefer the joy of sitting quietly away from the computer and reading something I can hold. Still old school, I guess.
Thank you for this brilliant and faithful (in my estimation) electronic version of The Cowley Magazine.
I am grateful for yet another beacon of light in your ministry to so many of us!

The new look is terrific! I’m delighted to see you and the magazine in color, and the Issuu preview is excellent and easy to use. I’m a graphic designer and publisher myself, as well as a longtime reader of the Cowley Magazine, so that’s a professional compliment! Keep up the good work, and I applaud you for moving to online delivery as an alternative.
Wonderful work! Readable, attractive and very efficient. I am impressed with the contemporaneity of the SSJE brothers!! As my students would say, “Bangin job, brothers!!”
Blessings.
I very much like the on-line format of the Cowley Magazine. It came through clearly and in print large enough to read comfortably and the pictures are great in color!
It is exciting to see the Society use the website and electronic communication to the fullest extent.
Thank you for all that you are doing. While it is difficult for me to get up to the monastery because of my parish commitment, I feel very much connected with the brothers and am fed wonderfully by my visits to your website. I will be sending in another contribution.
God Bless,
Rick Fowler
I like it, and I’d be happy to receive the magazine this way (online) with an email to let me know when a new issue is available, rather than in print. I do all my newspaper reading online now and a great deal of other reading (e.g. New York Review of Books). It saves trees, keeps down my clutter, and is one less thing for me to find space to store or to send to be recycled. But I’d miss the cool monochrome photos, which have a character that polychrome can’t always match. Maybe you could put that version on the Web too!
Just read Cowley online and enjoyed the experience! I’d already received and read my paper copy in the mail, so it was interesting – even uncanny! – to see the pages online. While I’d prefer to have a magazine in hand, I could see the day when costs and convenience would dictate having this entirely on line. The page turning feature is great. Thanks for making this available!
just by the first look, it’s lovely, the marvelous work you have done with all the courage …I foresee more of Gedion; whom the Angel of the Lord said ‘you mighty man of fearless courage’
May the dear Lord continue to strengthen and renew SSJE brothers.

I think the web edition of the Cowley Magazine is brilliant. It is easy to access, the ability to enlarge the print is enormously helpful and, of course, the color prints adds to the booklet. I would hope that soon you would also add links to the articles and perhaps links to sermons and presentations that are already found on your web page. Wonderful.

THANKS! This is a wonderful improvement and I won’t miss the paper copy at all! A beautiful update.
Thanks, really enjoyed looking at the pictures in the colour online version. Didn’t need to read it as I’ve already had my hard copy! It’s one of the few publications which gets read as soon as it arrives! Whilst I like receiving the actual copy, it makes more sense, particularly for those of us who are abroad to receive on line. Clare.
The online version of Cowley magazine is beautiful! I think that’s a great idea. I’m wondering if there’s a way for me to be taken off the printed versoin mailing list – save money and trees – and I can read it online (assuming y’all will email or post on facebook when new issues are available online).
If not, please keep me on the paper copy mailing list – don’t want to miss it.
Thanks!
Amanda
