This is right on a mark that is easily missed. Thank you. It reminds me of moments when I haven’t seen something I am looking for because the object is right in front of me. I shall remember this in my personal rule as well as when opportunities arise in my teaching.

Clayton Christensen, Harvard Business School professor, also pondered this question in an addressed to HBS students in the spring of 2102. It was presented in an HBS keynote essay, entitled “How Will You measure Your Life?” in the Jul/Aug HBR 2010 and soon to be published as a monograph. Wonderful and inspring reading and in sync with everything presented this Lenten season by SSJE on developing a rule of life.
