Leader: Br. Keith Nelson, SSJE

The Heart is a poignant symbol in Christian scripture and tradition, an inner sanctum where we can abide with Christ in the midst of busy lives and the whirlwind of our own thoughts. In this workshop we will explore ancient and medieval texts and the work of contemporary spiritual writers on the Heart: the center of our being and the birthplace of our transfiguration in Christ. Contemplative, body-centered exercises will offer tools for grounding and applying these insights in daily life.

Br. Keith gave a wonderful workshop on Saturday. It was most obvious that it came from his “Heart” I came away spirituality nourished and awakened. The moment I step into under croft I became very emotional releasing that this was the place to be. The Brothers where so very welcoming and warm. I am looking forward to my return to SSJE in the near future. Thank you again Brother Keith for helping me to better understand how to use the Office of Morning and Evening Prayer.
Peace, Light and Love in Christ
    Blessings
