Jesus tells us, “for where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.” This is why the practice of silence is so important. It’s only when we close our eyes, letting ourselves rest in stillness, that we cultivate a sense of being attuned to Christ’s Light. Listening to the silence of our hearts, we begin to sense something very subtle, a light of incredible beauty and goodness, Christ’s Light, embracing dark and light alike.
