Christmas Creche

Longing but unable to welcome you for worship ‘in person’, we invite you to ‘come gaze at the Word made flesh’ with us in a meditative walk round the Monastery Creche in this video link.

Come gaze at the Word Made Flesh.

Oh, come, all ye faithful, joyful and triumphant.
Oh, come ye, oh come ye to Bethlehem.
Come and behold him, born the King of angels;
Oh, come, let us adore him;
Oh, come, let us adore him;
Oh, come, let us adore him, Christ, the Lord.

Palestinian Christians in Bethlehem carved this olivewood set. Each year we invite guests to come look at it after services, to look from several angles, and to bend down to see it up close. We Brothers are pleased to share it with you.

    Dearest Brothers, This is the most beautiful fantasy creche of any I have ever seen. I have the video stored in my saved mail files because it will come down I’m sure. Thank you for sharing Margo

    How wonderful to be able to see this crèche again! We remember seeing it in person in 2019 when we spent Christmas at the monastery, one of the most meaningful Christmases of our life together. We even recall watching Br. Luke arranging it, so thoughtfully and lovingly putting each piece in its rightful place. Thank-you for sharing this virtually.
    Until we meet together again in person,
