Will we escape suffering in this world? No. Can we bring this suffering to God? Absolutely. And the God who loves us more than we can ever love ourselves, will take and use this suffering for our greater good, and use it to bless us and the world. “Do not be afraid,” God says to us. “I will never leave you or forsake you.”

Celebrating 10 Years of Brother, Give Us A Word

We invited friends around to world to share how Brother, Give Us A Word has been meaningful to them. How have the daily words inspired you or influenced your prayer life? See what other have said and share your own story here:

Love, love, love. That’s all the Brothers talk about! And I am SO glad that they do! They talk about loving God, loving one’s neighbor, and oneself. But the love they talk about the most is God’s ridiculously outsized love for each of us, that Love which prompts all other loves. I have always felt loved, having been blessed with a loving family, teachers, and friends. So, I knew God’s tender love long before my good health abruptly changed at age 57. But since then, He has assured me that neither pain, nor fear, nor disability, indeed NOTHING can separate me from His kindhearted Love. The Brothers’ messages daily point me to prayerfully seek and accept this great Love, the Love which never experiences “compassion fatigue”, which never offers a stone instead of bread! Thank you, dear Brothers!
