A short program with Br. Luke

The platform teach:able will be the central point for materials and resources for this learning series as we’ll get out of our often too-serious and word-filled heads, move, create and see, imagine, and linger with God.

At your own pace, I encourage you to move to the next lecture, which will contain a 1-3 minute video and text meditation, a 20-30 minute teaching video and documents describing various prayer practices. Using the comment section, we can share in what we are experiencing and learning.

To enroll, fill out this form below. You will receive an on-screen confirmation, and an email with further instructions to create an account with teach:able.

I attended this online offering with you last year. Thank you for making this available again. Frankly, I am so used to sitting quietly in prayer, being still, even while wanting to move, to reach, perhaps even dance while praying. I still haven’t yet given myself “permission” to move around, well, except for embracing myself. I look forward to repeating this program, who knows, maybe I will give myself permission this time.

Thank you for sending me this information. I have attended many retreats and have had years of spiritual direction which has been very helpful. This will be my first course with SSJE. Keeping you in my heart
    and prayers. Gratefully, Mary

I teach children in our sunday school at holy spirit anglican, maple ridge, bc. As I learn and grow in expressing prayer to God bodily, I might be able to encourage children to express their prayer with their bodies.
