Pilgrims aren’t going places simply to see the sites. Pilgrims go to be surprised by God, and to discover a bond with other pilgrims that only silence can create. But you don’t have to travel thousands of miles to be surprised by God. You only have to be a pilgrim. And you can be that, right here and right now, by opening yourself up to the power and presence of God.
