Turn

The questions Jesus asked Peter and Paul – “Why are you persecuting me?” and “Do you love me?” – are questions that could be an unraveling in the awful knowledge that one has failed their truest Friend. But God’s sole purpose in asking is that we turn and live in gratitude for another chance. Gratitude will lift us from the abyss and restore us to the flock.
