Our spiritual kinship with one another in Christ is a matter of ongoing realization. A community offers fathers and mothers, sisters and brothers in Christ, with whom to laugh and weep, bicker and cooperate, serve and receive service. It is in many small moments of emulating Christ’s self-spending love that we realize our kinship with Christ as his family.
