A Trip to Sewanee

Brothers Lucas Hall and Lain Wilson spent the week at the Seminary at Sewanee University in Tennessee as part of the Society’s “Discover SSJE Seminary Project.” They introduced SSJE and its resources for spiritual formation and ministry to current seminarians, answered questions about life in community and living under a Rule of Life, and met with individuals and small groups for spiritual direction and conversation. Lain preached at the Seminary’s community Holy Eucharist on Wednesday, and Lucas preached at both celebrations of the Holy Eucharist at All Saints’ Chapel on Sunday. The Brothers also connected with the Community of St. Mary, Southern Province, an Episcopal women’s community located in Sewanee.
