Integrity

Our feast today—the sacred heart of Jesus—reveals something fundamental about Jesus’s integrity, something true about the faithfulness and reliability of Jesus. And it is an invitation to us to find our own integrity in the integrity of Jesus’s heart. But integrity is not just about self-knowledge understood simply as the quest for autonomy or authenticity—but rather about our buying into something beyond ourselves.
