Thank you for your understanding and letting us know how to manage this closure. We will be in contact to confirm in the coming days.

Andrew Harmon,

Guesthouse Manager

9 March 2020

Dear Friends,

We Brothers are reminded in our Rule of Life that it is a great privilege to be called to the religious life. One of those privileges is our ability to offer the ministry of hospitality to so many, from across the country, and around the world, all of whom are yearning for the things of God. It is an honor for us to provide silence, stillness, and sanctuary in the midst of a noisy, and harried world.

Reading the news in the past several days, we have been saddened by the rapid spread of the Coronavirus. Because there is such uncertainty as to how things will develop, following the advice of two healthcare professionals, as a precaution, we have made the decision to close our Guesthouse until at least 7 May 2020.

I regret that this means we will have to cancel your retreat or workshop.

Our Guesthouse Manager, Andrew Harmon will be in touch with you about refunding your deposit, or rescheduling your retreat for another time, after we have reopened.

It is our sincere hope that we will be able to reopen our Guesthouse as planned. In the meantime the Chapel remains open, and all are welcome to join us in our round of worship.

Even though our Guesthouse will be closed, and we will miss seeing you, you remain close to us in our prayers.

Faithfully in the One who calms our fears, and offers healing and wholeness to the sick,

James Koester SSJE
